Agreement
If you accept these terms for an organization, you confirm you may bind it, and “you” means that organization. An order form or a signed contract adds to these terms and, where they disagree, prevails for that customer. The privacy policy and the security page describe what Alice keeps, deletes and never does.

02Accounts
You may sign in by magic link or with Google or Microsoft sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Accounts are for people 18 and over acting for a working team.
03The service
Alice directs a cinematic simulation for a team and measures what the team does. We provide the Room, the worlds, Alice the AI Director, the Alice Assessor and the Alice Report, as described on this site at the time of booking. Two worlds, Timefold and Blackout, are in development and Deep Current is in production. A world is part of the service only once it is marked available at the time of booking. Custom worlds on Enterprise are built per contract. API access is a private beta offered by invitation and may change without notice.
Sessions run in English. Participants need a current browser (Chrome, Edge or Safari), a camera, a microphone, headphones and a stable connection; the Room Check screen tests these before the Room opens.
04Booking, scheduling and rescheduling
A session is booked by picking a slot and completing the booking details; a manager confirms within one business day and the session appears in your Workspace as “Session scheduled”. You may reschedule at no charge up to three business days before the scheduled start. Later changes, or a session that cannot run because fewer than five participants join, may be charged as a session run. If a session cannot run because of a failure on our side, we re-run it at no charge.
05Fees, billing and taxes
Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. A Team Session is invoiced at booking. Growth and Enterprise are billed annually in advance for the term in the order form. The Partner platform fee is billed monthly and Partner sessions are invoiced as they run. Unused Growth sessions do not carry past the term unless the order form says so. Fees for sessions that have run are not refundable. We may change list prices with notice; a change does not affect a term already paid.
06Participants and consent
You are responsible for telling participants, before the session, that Alice listens to and scores the session, what the report contains and who will see it, and for having a lawful basis to run it. Alice repeats the notice on the Room Check screen and records each participant's acknowledgment before the Room opens. A participant who does not agree does not join. You will not run a session on anyone under duress or as a disguised disciplinary process.
07Use of the Alice Report
The Alice Report is decision support for a human debrief. It is not a clinical, medical or psychological assessment and is not a substitute for one. You agree not to use the report, or any score in it, as the sole basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effect on a person, including hiring, promotion, pay or dismissal, and not to represent it to anyone as such a decision. Each participant has the right to receive their own Gap Card. You remain responsible for how you use the report.
08Acceptable use
You will not record the Room by any means other than the ones we provide, redistribute scenario content, scripts, voices or worlds outside the service, attempt to reverse engineer the Assessor or its indicators, scrape or extract data from the platform, interfere with other customers' sessions, or use Alice for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend an account to stop misuse and will tell you why.
09Your data and ours
You own the data you bring and the Alice Reports compiled for you. We process session data as your processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which is available for every paid plan and forms part of these terms once signed. Raw audio is deleted within 24 hours unless you opt in at booking. Indicator scores stripped of names, team, company and session join the Cohort benchmark; Enterprise contracts can set the terms of contribution. We do not train models on your transcripts or your reports. The privacy policy describes all of this in full.
10Intellectual property
Alice, the worlds, eras, missions, scripts, characters and voices, the indicator set, the report formats and the site are ours or our licensors'. You receive a non-exclusive license to use the Alice Reports compiled for you inside your organization for its people and team development purposes. Partners receive, in addition, a license to deliver white-label Alice Reports under their own brand to their clients for the term of the Partner plan. Nothing else is licensed. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
11Partner terms
A Partner runs sessions for its own clients, sets its own client price, facilitates the debrief with the Director's Log, and delivers white-label Alice Reports. The Partner is responsible for its agreement with its client, for informing participants, and for its client's lawful basis; we act as the Partner's subprocessor under the Data Processing Agreement. The platform fee is due monthly for the term; sessions are invoiced as they run. A Partner may not resell platform access, sublicense worlds or present Alice as its own technology.
12Availability and support
We aim to keep Alice available at all times and tell you in advance of planned maintenance; we do not schedule maintenance during a booked session. During a session, if a participant drops, Alice pauses the Clock. If a session fails for a reason on our side, we re-run it at no charge; that re-run is your remedy for the failure. Support is by email at report@alice.report; a manager replies within one business day. Growth and Enterprise include a success manager.
13Confidentiality
Each of us keeps the other's confidential information confidential and uses it only for the service. For us, that covers your session data, reports and business information. For you, it covers non-public information about Alice, including scenario content, which participants should not share before a session so that the plot is not spoiled for them. This clause survives termination.
14Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we will provide the service with reasonable skill and care and substantially as described on this site at the time of booking. Beyond that, Alice is provided as is. We do not warrant that a report will produce a particular business outcome, that the Cohort benchmark reflects your industry, or that the Solo Probe, which is a teaser profile from ten decisions and not an assessment, is accurate for any purpose. Statistics on this site are quoted from their named sources; the two cases are historical, from sessions run in 2024-2025 with human assessors, and are not a promise of results.
15Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability under these terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited.
16Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of an Alice Report in breach of section 7, from running a session without a lawful basis or without informing participants, or from content you bring into the service.
17Term, suspension and termination
These terms apply while you have an account or an active plan. Either of us may end a plan at the end of its term with notice before renewal. We may suspend or end an account for a material breach that is not fixed within a reasonable time after notice, or immediately for serious misuse. On termination you can export your reports from the Workspace; we delete your data as the privacy policy states.
18Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes and the change is described in one line beneath it. Material changes are announced to account holders by email before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance. A term already paid runs on the terms in force when it was paid.
19Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Discover IT LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your order form states otherwise. Before either of us starts proceedings, we will try to resolve the matter by a conversation between people with authority to settle it, within 30 days of one of us asking. Nothing here stops a consumer from relying on mandatory rights in their home jurisdiction.
20General
These terms, the order form, the Data Processing Agreement and the privacy policy are the whole agreement. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest stands. Neither of us may assign these terms without the other's consent, except to a successor in a merger or acquisition. Notices go to report@alice.report and to the email on your account. Neither of us is liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, except for payment obligations.
